For my 3 main advertising methods I have done to advertise my dads science related company Farapack LTD. The methods I chose to create was a website, promotional video and leaflet. These were the requirements my clients wanted. These products were a variety of print and web based and video based. This being a range of different levels of skill.
Firstly the website I created was meant to be a redesign of my clients website as he wanted the website to be more modern to what it was before. The website before was a bit basic and in my opinion not very vibrant. For my website I used Wix.com to create my website as it is easier for graphic design. This allowing me to explore all the design ideas I can use. On Wix I used a square theme to use the hyperlinks to other pages. On these squares I used the jellyfish design as I believe it is a interesting design. with the purple and pink smoke. This I believe is aesthetically pleasing as the design can connote chemicals that links with the company. I added content they wanted on the website. I knew this through a PowerPoint I had sent to me about what they wanted on the website. I had multiple drafts of this website as I needed to add information of what the company does like past jobs and clients. Another technical requirement that I think meets the brief is the use of the companies linked with Farapack. This gives description of the clients with words and visuals. I used a interactive graphic that allows the user to click on individual directors to highlight the person. This has photos added to that to make it more interactive.
For my promotional video I have filmed my client and his working partner perform experiments and explain what it is they do. I start the video off with a shot of the outside of their building. This helping the viewer know where they are based visually. I have performed many panoramas of the work environment giving a sense of professionalism, this what my client wanted. I used close ups and long shots my clients performing experiments. This allowing multiple angles being seen. I added two interviews in this videos. these interviews from both members of the team explain what they do and why companies should choose them. Through these collection of clips together there simple facts that make Farapack look good. The video used non copyrighted music in the clips. This all being possible with the software Adobe Premiere which allowed me to make this product. At the end of the video contact information is clearly shown for companies to communicate with them as requested by my client.
Lastly my promotional leaflet. I created this leaflet on Adobe InDesign, I did this because I believe this is the best product to create a print based product to a high standard. I created a square design using multiple different colours and placing the rectangles at different angles. I gained permission to use the black version of the Farapack logo and placed it as a banner. Through this leaflet I used stats and relevant information to promote Farapack and make other companies want to work with them. This making it technically pleasing. I used contacts and to allow communication. photos are also used to make it aesthetically pleasing to the viewer and my client giving a visual to the company Farapack and the people associated with it.
